Aims and Scope

Research on bioinformatics requires access to huge amount of increasing biology data and huge computation-power. In recent years, the Grid Computing techniques has been widely used in bioinformatics research to share the data and compute power more efficiently. Several bioinformatics Grid has been constructed in several countries.
The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for discussion of the latest research in the Grid Computing techniques for bioinformatics. It is a multidisciplinary workshop that brings together academic scientists from molecular biology, medicine, computer science, mathematics and statistics.
This workshop focuses on the design, construction and evaluation of Grid Computing techniques for bioinformatics.
